Pair of Broody Frizzle bantams and chicks
Poultry Breeds
The Frizzle is a purely show breed in which the feathers curl the wrong way, It  comes in both large fowl and bantam I keep white bantams with my youngest daughter Leah iv'e found they make great pets the birds being very placid they come in a range of colours and these days it has become popular to frizzle other breeds such as Polands on a hatch not all the chicks will turn out frizzle feathered normally around 30% turn out straight feathered you need to breed some straight feathered birds back to the frizzle feathered to avoid producing over curled feathers which are brittle and snap with you ending up with bald birds.
Origin : Asia
Classification : Heavy : Soft feather.
Egg Colour: White or tinted
Frizzle Chicks a straight feathered chick on the left and a Frizzled feathered chick on the right taken at about a week old.
