i love this album, i think it is my favourite out of the three i have.
my favourite song is probably m&m's, i love the innocence of the lyrics, and the simplicity of the song, and how the emtions of the song are made so apparent. the mixture of despair and love:
"when i'm with you, there's nothing i wouldn't do, i just want to be your only one"
...and joking around too, to keep the mood light-hearted:
"my love life was getting so bland, there's only so many ways i can make love with my hand"
it is a very masculine song i think - and very teenage. there is a typical boy-ish attitude in there..."i love this, but i don't want to admit it" or "i want to cry, but i can't".
the main reason i love this album is its simplicity, and the ease with which you can identify with each song, even at a first listen. the music and the lyrics give a feeling of youth and beginning - starting out, making mistakes, trying to make sense of the world.
