Notched the oil pan so it would clear the steering linkage.  I know it's not the prettiest weld I've ever seen either, but an old friend of mine did it for free, so, I can't complain.
Then, the tranny crossmember was cut and rewelded to fit the 4L60E tranny. The tranny is a Level 5 from Finish Line Transmissions with the vacuum modulator kit, 5 pinion planetaries, and the corvette servo. It's running behind a Yank PT4000 converter
