My 1970 Nova that is undergoing a conversion from a big block to an LS1 engine.
I started the project a little over a year ago, but I'm always building other people's hot rods, so mine sits and waits in the garage until I get free to work on it. Well, for the last two weeks, I've been free, so I'm close to starting it up.
The old hood scoop is gone, the new hood looks like this...
the scoop section from a 65 GTO hood welded in.

Big Block Chevy motor 454 cubic inches. Ran 12.14 on motor, 11.20 on NOS. Sold it to a guy who didn't mind stopping at the gas station every day and filling her up.  Hopefully the LS1 that replaces it will be just as strong and still get 20 miles per gallon.

Took it to the track and best e.t was 12.19.
Changed the air intake and had it tuned, hoping for better times.
