Recently, the staff of Normandale Community College’s Lions’ Roar Newspaper elected a new editor in chief for the 2006-2007 school year.  Richard Johnson was elected to replace this year’s editor, Jordan Corrigan.

The staff elected the Hopkins High School grad because of his promises to make the paper a more easily accessible and a fun paper to write for.  Johnson also said that he would do his best to motivate reporters and other workers to do their best work.

When asked why he wanted the job, Johnson replied, “I’ve seen all of the facets of the newspaper industry, and I wanted to try this one.”
