Turkey....

This was a live chicken market in rural Turkey that again the scanner has not done justice to.  If you look closely you will see the women haggling over the price while the chicken flaps in protest!

:Looks like dad's wish in Istanbul worked.  The weather after a snowy first day was absolutely fantastic!

Anyone see a daughter of a true woman of troy hiding in the Trojan horse?

Yup, that wish thing works!

What a cute couple!

With the crescent and star on the left, the ruins on top of the hill on the right, and two love birds playing in the agora...who could ask for anything more!

This was an underground hallway that mental patients used to walk up and down.  The sound of running water was behind them and the doctors would soothe them from above.  I walked up and down, but have witnessed no improvement.  Oh well, so much for the quick fix!

Ephesus!  All that one would expect...and more!

The library at Ephesus, truly an incredible wonder!  That words can not come close to explaining!

Someone told me there was a theatre around Ephesus but I can't seem to find it anywhere!

The entire Turkish countryside is riddled with sites and artifacts from throughout history.  People told me before I left for Turkey that I would never believe how beautiful it was...they were right!
These cliffs of snow are actually an illusion created by the residue from the springs at Pannukule.  The puddles catch the reflection nicely.
Of course we could not resist a walk across them!  They too are legendary for their healing powers...I'm still a nutcase though?

Ever feel small?

If not take a seat in the Green mosque and just look around.

Anyone need some tea?

I know that you want some bread!

Contemplating life's greater questions.
