I know Edge is all over this sports entertainment category, but well, it's not like that wasn't surprising.

The Bullet Award:
Rey Mysterio wins World Heavyweight Title -- WrestleMania 22
(That someone needed to die for Rey to get the belt)

The Mark Award:
Kurt Angle released From WWE; Signs with TNA
Above all else, this was an absolute shock to me.

The Matty Award:
Kurt Angle to TNA
Can't say anyone saw this coming.

The Ricky Award:
E and C both becoming World Heavyweight Champions
Eight months after the Money In The Bank ladder match in which Edge won a title shot, he finally cashes it in, surprising nearly everyone. This was so effective because no wanted John Cena as champion and Edge was nowhere near the title scene at the time, making it a very shocking and satisfying moment. Christian Cage defeats Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at TNA's February Pay-Per-View, "Against All Odds", proving to the world (and his former employer, WWE) he's more than the mid-card material they always saw him as.
