The Brandon Award:
Rosario Dawson -- Clerks II
I wasnt really bombarded by any groundbreaking female performances this year.
The Bullet Award:
Eva Green -- Casino Royale
For showing that Bond girls can do more than just Bond.
The Mark Award:
Kelly Carlson -- The Marine
I haven't seen The Marine, but Carlson deserves this award for agreeing to be in a movie with Cena.
The Matty Award:
Scarlett Johanssen -- The Prestige/ The Black Dahlia
With roles in The Prestige and The Black Dahlia, she's probably my favorite actress.
The Ricky Award:
Rosario Dawson -- Clerks II
Rossario Dawson brought something to the Clerks franchise (maybe even to the whole jersey saga) that was missing a realistic cool girl character. The other stars of the film, Dante, Randall, Jay and Silent Bob, respectively, are all characters portrayed by actors who have been doing those characters for literally 10 years now. Rossario Dawson is able to act her way into seemingly belonging into this group and also being a central part of the movies plot.
