Sydney to Perth.

Day 1 Geelong (Victoria)
Day 2 Adelaide (SA)
Day 3 Ceduna
Day 4 Kalgoorlie
Day 5 Perth

Day 1.
The trip started 45 minutes behind schedule (6.45am), and the expected size of the luggage was well underestimated. Once this was all sorted we finally left Pyrmont (Sydney) for the last time (??). 150 km's outside of Sydney, just past our first Mcdonalds stop, trajedy occur. The car overheated. An hour later after topping up with coolant we were on our way. Next stop Canberra.

Quick stop here to meet Browny and then on to the next target Geelong. The driving was pretty standard not much to see except bush. Rocked into Geelong at 11pm and straight to the Motel.

First photo of the first morning
First Pub stop halfway thru the Great ocean road.
Day 2.

An early start to head to the Old Coast road. What can I say a winding, slow road, where we were constantly behind a old VW van or a sunday driver. This added half a day to our trip. Was glad to get back to the fast moving freeway. On the journey to Adelaide we past many "tourist" sites including a giant lobster, a submarine in the middle of a park and locals calling us dickheads for drinking coffee at a pub (in a place called Policemans Point!) After taking our warnings about Kangaroos, Emus, Police and late night video rentals, we reached Adelaide. First port of call was of course Maccas. After driving around for 30 minutes finally found a motel with rooms.
A big submarine in the middle of nowhere, somewhere between Geelong and Adelaide. Not much else in this town.

Day 3.

Wasnt much to Adelaide, a few tallish buildings, a few churches, that was it. Drove in circles a couple of times trying to find the M80, no success. Finally Davis pulls over a cab, who gives us the right direction ( I was going the right way all the time.) Bush bush bush bush. Then we reached the nullabor. Had a few good shots here, unfortunately Glasson was in charge of driving at this stage, so any and every photo opportunity was taking!
Thats right the 12 apostles, not bad.
Who said there wasnt room in the car to relax...
