I think I covered 2003 pretty well in the original web pages. I won't review 2004 except as mentioned in updates on sailing the boat and improvements.
May 29 -- Had a smooth launch into Little Detroit Lakes at Detroit Lakes, MN under overcast at about 50° Fahrenheit and light winds. Got the mast up on the first lift without a snag (meaning I remembered to close the hatch). Had the J&K Marine guys actually drive the boat in, a wonderful arrangement when the lake temperature is very cold and the air temp is not conducive to getting wet. Did not sail, as the weather was threatening. Bearings nice and cool after the 50 mile tow.
May 31 -- Wind is calm at 0800 CDT at the Detroit Lakes, MN airport AWOS (KDTL), but the day is promising. Sky at Fargo when from broken to overcast, and there is a light wind here. Hoping the wind moves east and the cloud band passes over while I wait.
