Plans for the Future
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
James 4:13-15

In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.

Proverbs 16:9

Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.

Proverbs 16:3

My most immediate plans include marrying Mary, my fiancee, on June 10, 2006, and years down the road, we (not just I) would like to have two or three children.

I plan to graduate from USF's College of Medicine in 2009.

Upon completing medical school, I plan to enter a residency in the field of psychiatry.

A few years after practicing as a psychiatrist, I would like to open a Christian psychiatric clinic (or a branch of clinics) similar to those pioneered by Drs. Minirth and Meier.

Over the course of my career, I would like to author a number of books on topics such as social issues, Christianity, and mental/physical health as well as be a speaker across the country and, should the Lord will, internationally.
