| Airsoft is a lot like paintballing. However there are many differences. Don't get me wrong, I love paintballing and play it lots, but running around with this alien looking gun just seems wierd sometimes. Airsoft actually uses realistic looking guns that are modeled after realworld weapons. The only difference in appearence is the destinctive orange markings on the tips of the barels. These weapons are also more compact since there is no hopper, or air tank. Pistols are especially usefull in close quarter battles. There are three different types of airsoft guns. There are springers which are the cheapest but need to be cocked after each shot; electrics, which use a battery and motor (rifles are powerfull but pistols are weak); and there are gas guns which are all strong. The gas is sprayed into the magizine like refilling a lighter. |
