On June 4th, 2006 Ryleigh Kathryn King came into our world and forever changed our lives. This courageous, strong, brave and endearing girl underwent open heart surgery in September just three months after her birthday. Through the power of the Lord, thousands of prayers, and the unbelievably skillfull care of the Arkansas Children's hospital this tough little girl survived a challenge few of us will ever comprehend. I am in awe of her courage, humbled by the Lord, and inspired by the unyielding prayers of thousands of supporters. I watched throughout this precious girl's ordeal praying as her Mom and Dad devoted every waking moment of every day tending to her need and quite simply protecting their baby. It was awesome to observe. Thank you Lord and thank you Bernie and Janet for brining this girl into our lives.
On March 4, 2007 I will run the Litte Rock Marathon in the name of this brave girl to support the Arkansas Children's Hospital. Check back here often for fundraising updates, a list of contributors and other special items....We love you RYLEIGH!!!
