flowers and woods

Admittedly, these are flattering shots. The reality isn't quite so pastoral (as my neighbors would testify were they so inclined), but why ruin it?

Our perceptions dictate reality. Right?? Right?!?!

I have a large backyard with lots of trees, but out my window, I can see a playground.. it is a joy for me when the kids are there playing. The city just put in a shelter house...so there will be more activity with families..

Not much in the way of view for me. About all I see is the neighbor's trailer and shed. The space between our trailers and then the trailers behind me. Not very exciting.

Depends if I'm looking out my kitchen window or out my front door. I love the view out my kitchen window -- there are no houses to see in that direction, just a hill with trees and sometimes cattle. The sun rises behind that hill.

Out the front door, I do have my maple tree and my redbud tree. But past those there are just houses and cars and teenagers and kids and dogs...

So mostly I look out the kitchen window :-)

Well, I love the view out my window. The woods, then foreground trees, grass, garden shed, a few roses & a precious tomato plant loaded with green tomataoes. Often see deer, coyote & squirrels now that the scrub trees are growing into higher canopy trees. I see, also, that my little bird feeder needs repair from the deer rough-housing with it last night.
