What's up, what happened, and why not?
These opinions are my own and you are welcome to them.
We did it!

I know people will be anxious to see the results of Saturday afternoon's photo-op so here goes...

I shot about 100 frames and I'm sure others have many more. This is the first one that "grabbed me" as far as "hitting the mark" goes. I see now where we missplaced people in the frame, but that's expected with such a large group.

The weather cooperated beautifully with one glaring exception... the wind was ferocious... which kept things cool but shredded at least two umbrellas.

First example of Seurat Painting Photo

Oh well... there's more where this came from. I hope other photos from other photographers will appear online soon. I can't wait to see what John Spates and Jim Simonson took.

I think that the dog, helped to make the pic most, like the original! (smile)

Quite an idea, all in all!

Thanks.

@Cher - No... we had the people. I just blew the placement of 3 just to left of center in view above and missed directing the canoe (obscured) 10 or 12 feet north.
