...and some photos from them...  Memorial Day Parade watchers in front of Austin's Barber Shop in Downtown Beloit.  This is the real state line - the actual border of Illinois and Wisconsin. Really! I used this closed bridge to get past the crowds and traffic, to reach South Beloit's end of the parade area.  This is my favorite from a day in which I took 294 photos. The Beloit Daily News photographer taking photos of Rick West playing taps at the conclusion of the armed forces veterans memorial service at City Park in South Beloit.  A new version of an old shot of The Landing sculpture. Taken from ground level under the sculpture.  How can simple words add to this?  Playing with various image manipulation options resulted in the above photo. |
