Choose 2006 Calendar Photos

It's time to choose 2006 calendar photos and you can help! Image  I need to select 13 photos - one for the cover and one for each month. A few things conspire to complicate this selection process:

  1. The photos must be horizontal (landscape) oriented. Vertical (portrait) oriented photos don't work.
  2. I do not have photos from all seasons/months and, therefore, picking one to match a particular month (that wasn't used in LAST YEAR'S calendar is a problem.
  3. We want to "mix things up" and not repeat scenes or topics. For example: We want to avoid a collection featuring too much art, too few people, repeats of same site, too many static shots, and so on. (Unless, of course, someone thinks this should be an all-art calendar!)

Pop on over to my Flickr Photo stream, have a look-see at the photo collection, and make a suggestion in a comment here.

Once printed, I give the calendars to family and friends as Christmas gifts.

I pretty much like all the choices you have in your sample calendar - Awesome Pix! Only thing I would like to mention, is I really hope that pic of your Mom's area now covered with art definitely makes it into the calendar - either for March or the Cover... Not only is it an awesome pic, but the story behind it is heartfelt, and it'd be an awesome way to honor your Mom's appreciation for art! :)

Thanks, Lisa. I don't think that photo will make the family calendar this year because I included a photo from an earlier exhibit in the 2005 calendar. You can see that one here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/oldonliner/26319567 ...
