After the outbreak, the situation in Raccoon City compelled the federal government to launch the "Bacillus Termination Operation. " Raccoon City was wiped out with nuclear force. But this was only the way the game of Resident Evil was scripted for viewers.
Beyond the television screen, the Capcom universe spans infinitely. Resident Evil exists as one of the many arenas to which Capcom games belong. This is to say that Raccoon City is very much intact.
Until now, all has been running according to programming in the Resident Evil world. The bio-organic creatures are continually disposed of, the barricades in the streets are fortified, and the search for survivors continues. But lately, the pattern of continuity has become unbalanced. Resident Evil characters strain their necks and ears for any signs of disturbance. Desperate to locate a source of conflict, they repeatedly patrol the perimeter of the Resident Evil arena. There is, in fact, reason to believe that former S.T.A.R.S captain, Albert Wesker, is behind a series of rippled disruptions. Only time will tell what Wesker is up to. And while characters concern themselves with the arrival of a stranger from beyond their arena borders, they are distracted from the imminent danger that seems certain to alter the Resident Evil world. |
