Paladinsthe opposites of Dark Knights, are virtuous knights devoted to the good of the people; these "knights in shining armor" tend to wield low-level white magic. The Paladin can use "Cover" to temporarily redirect damage from an ally to itself. Notable Paladins in the series include Cecil Harvey (Final Fantasy IV), General Beatrix (Final Fantasy IX), Agrias Oakes, and Delita Hyral.
