INTRODUCTION

This autobiography describes a basically unathletic mother of three children with a boring office job.  By chance she becomes interested in triathlon and eventually starts dreaming of becoming an IRONMAN and earning the qualification to participate in the crown jewel of all triathlon events, the IRONMAN World Championship of Hawaii. 
It is not a straight level road she can travel.  There are many ups and downs not only where triathlon competitions are concerned.  She also has to overcome many obstacles in her work and family lives.  Fate takes many unforeseeable twists and turns.  At times, it even seems she will have to give up her dream, but persistence and faith to dare the seemingly impossible allow her to get closer to her goal, step by step.  Finally her dream of becoming an IRONMAN comes true.
