KidsTheseDays is a non-governmental organization that's raising awareness about the eight Millenium Development Goals.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate youth all over the world about the Millenium Development Goals and empower them to take action to achieve them, thereby establishing global cooperation in the efforts of young people to create a better world.

Our Objectives

1. To create awareness about the MDGs by spreading the word and making information on the MDGs available and accessible.

2. To advocate for greater efforts to be made by governments, organizations and civil society to achieve the MDGs.

3. To provide youth with information, guidance, and other resources in order to empower them to take action to create sustainable solutions supporting the MDGs in their own local communities.

4. To give youths from different parts of the world a platform to voice their ideas and share their resources so as to achieve worldwide cooperation in pursuing the MDGs.

5. To connect youth to other youth and organizations around the world to help them understand and combat global issues.

Who Are We?

KidsTheseDays is a project started by (above, left to right) Joanna Lee, Christa Lawniczak, Annastasia Wong, Sophie Knudson, Helen Cashman, Jacqui Van Zyl, Lorraine Wong, Elaine Kushkowski, and Allister Low; a group of ordinary teenagers out to change the world!
