Future Changes
The greatest influence that this class will have on our futures is the higher level of writing that we will demonstrate when we are in a professional setting. Our cover letters will be more complete, reports will be better organized, and eventually we could be able to land better, higher-paying jobs because of the amazing writing skills that we'll have. In addition, other things that we have learned in this class will affect our future:

We have learned how some views can affect others in a positive and negative way. Take, for instance, the treatment of the LGBT community.
     - The personal views of politicians have kept LGBTs from being able to marry and have the rights of married citizens
     - They are sometimes descriminated against in the workforce and receive negative treatment on the job.
     - They are stereotyped on TV shows, sometimes in a positive way, but mostly in a negative way.
We have learned what stereotypes do to our culture.
     - Single moms - The perception that they don't think before they act, which is untrue
     - Racial bias - The idea that one race is superior to another. This creates tension between cultures.
     - Class - There are many stereotypes for all classes that exist. Some may be true, but others arent; they are a generalization of a large, diverse group of people.
.
What we have learned in class will surely effect our:
- Job of the future
- How we treat people on the job (respect, courtsey, listening)
- Personal life (friends, familiy)
- Acceptance of differing views and origins
- Adaptation to changes in the world (due to forward thinking - such as views on LGBTs)
- Point of view looking forward into the future

Mostly what we have learned and can apply to our lives in the future are the ideas that everyone is equal; that it doesn't matter what color, race, or sex a person is, but rather how they treat others. While it is important to know the proper way to write, it is more important to know how a person's views affect the world around them. This will help us in the future by keeping our eyes and minds open to the world and the people in it. In the future we will learn not to judge others based on a single perspective. We have learned that social class does not make you a good or bad person, and neither does the color of your skin. We have found that it is what's inside the heart of a person that matters. Everything that we have learned in this class has changed not only our current identities and perspectives but also what we will stand for in the future. We feel that we have a broader range of knowledge of the many different personalities and views of people in the world and have the influence of those views weighing on our minds when we make decisions.
