Though it is said that growing herbs is easy, it is not always true if you try to grow lavenders from the seeds.
First of all, germination rate is quite low. Though I have not counted, maybe it was lower than 50%. And, even if some seeds have shown small green sprout, they often disappear suddently before growing.
However, if you saw too many seeds, lavenders are so whimsical that some of them may suddenly germinate a half or one year later.
Beside it, lavenders seems to be tasty for birds. Even if you have had a hard time to let them germinate, they might be eaten by birds if you do not pay attention.
After 1 year and a few month of lots of troubles, I finally let them bloom successfully.
I am sorry that I only have unclear picture, because lavenders are too small for the pictures.
