Charm of Callas
Calla is a paticular shaped flower, with one petal (actually it is a transformed leaf).
Same as ahthriums, callas belong to araceae, however callas are grown from bulbs, while anthriums do not get bulbs.

Planting Bulbs
It is recommended to plant the bulbs in winter or early spring, when it is still cold. However, if you live in a cold place, where the temperature reaches below 10F/-12C in winter, it is better to wait until it gets warmer, or keep the plant indoor.
The planting depth is around 2 inches. It is not recommended to plant them too close to each otehr, because the bulbs grow horizontally.

Partial shade is recommended in warm regions, while full sun is recommended in cool regions.

Watering
Make sure if they prefer to be wet or dry, because the watering method is different depending on the breedings.
If they prefer to be wet, keep them wet with keeping water in the saucer, while wait until the surface of the soil is dry and do not keep water in the saucer if they prefer to be dry.

It is not very necessary, but you can mix fertilizer in the soil before planting.

After the Flower
Cut the flower off after the flower has faded.
In the cold region, dig the bulbs out before the frost. However in the warm region, you can keep it in the container.
