Because the winter in California is rainy and considarably cold, I decided to go to Phoenix, AZ, as a warm and sunny place, around the new year's day.
While I was driving in the suburbs, the moutains looked green and I thought "It is surprising that grass grows in such a dry area". However, I found it not grass but a bunch of cacti! There are so numerous wild cacti in Arizona.
The second picture above is expanded if you click on it, because I can't tell how great the cacti was in the shrinked picture.
