| My Story |
| My real name is Melissa. I come from a family of 4 kids and 2 parents. I live in Columbus, OH after just recently relocating from Minneapolis. I'm 25 years old (11/05/79). I have a husband and 2 cats and we live in an apartment. I'm 5'4" tall and won't disclose my weight until I lose about 25 pounds! but I love food too much to diet. I am a minister for Jesus Christ and am working on getting my state preaching license to work with the Assemblies of God. I am a glitter goth, an intellectual, an artist, and missionary to the lost. I graduated from North Central University in 2003 after transferring from Central Bible College (CBC was way better!) and have graduated Summa cum Laude and Salutatorian. My first "sermon" was to my high school graduating class with about 1500 in attendance...it was exciting! I've been to Venezuela for a month and to Mexico City on mission trips. I love to travel, speak different languages and eat yummy foreign food! You've got to go overseas! |
| We got married July 28, 2001. It's been a lot of work, but a whole lot of fun! I wouldn't trade him, though sometimes I'd like to retrain him-but the feeling is mutual and we refuse to ever divorce. commitment! it's great! |

| Justin, came from a family of 3 natural kids and has divorced parents-all of whom He loves. He's 30 years old (03/29/74), but acts like a teenager. He has a dry sense of humor but is really fun to be with. He's about 6'2" and cutely overweight a bit (he likes to cook). He's also a great musician and bard. He's proud of his Celtic roots and would love to go to Ireland if we could ever afford it. He's also been overseas to Ghana and Argentina. He loves Jesus more than me and is also called to be a missionary with a prophetic voice. He grew up in WY,SD, and CA and graduated from NCU in 2002. We met at a friend's (Hope's) wedding and he proposed to me on Valentine's Day to a very creative rendition of the Princess Bride movie acted out. Check out his page to find out more about Him. |

| Right now we're looking for a new one since we moved, but we were at Columbia Heights Assembly of God in MN. It was a small church with a huge vision and heart to reach internationals and love Jesus. Justin was the Music leader, and I was the youth pastor there. We miss it. |

| My sister (at 5 years old) named me when I was born. My name means "Seeking One" and "honey bee". Years ago, I was super- super skinny, super shy, super hurting, lonely, and afraid, and wanted to be a veterinarian (because I hated people and only loved animals and nature). I was the kind of kid that talked to animals and trees and felt one with them, yet I was not healed from the turmoil inside by them. Through a long journey (I knew there was something more to this world than only what I could see with my eyes, ever had that feeling?), I sought many spiritual avenues to fill the void inside me. Ultimately, it culminated into joining witchcraft...which, though the power was real, still wasn't satisfying or powerful enough. I went through all kinds of spiritual junk at that time and decided to be a Christian. For some reason, something in my heart said that was the right direction, so I gave it a try. You can read more on that in my intro page and on the Christianity page. In short, it was the best decision I ever made and have not ever regretted it. My super lows are now super highs and I have since been called into apostolic ministry which I will do for my King until I die. By the way, I love people now too...strange? And I no longer want to be a veterinarian, but a missionary-especially to India and Mexico City.
