How to fight Culex: The hardest boss in Super Mario RPG is a dark knight named Culex. He is from Final Fantasy 4 (2 in the USA), and when you fight him the FF4 boss music even plays, including the victory music from the FF series when you beat him! Now, to find him really isn't that hard. Have you noticed in Monstro Town there is a door that is sealed? Well, there is a Paranah Plant in a house next to it that will tell you his neighbor never comes out and that he likes shiny rocks. Remember the girl in Moleville that was playing "Pertend Store"? Go to Monstro Town and enter the house next to her. There is a guy selling Fireworks for 500 coins - buy them. Now, go outside the house and give the Fireworks to the girl. She will give you the Shiny Stone. Now, you are going to have to return to Monstro Town. Go to the door that is sealed and check it out. The door will "react" to the stone and will open.
