Prime Time Family Reading Time
Marion County Public Library
HOME
The Prime Time Family Reading Time is a grant funded program designed specifically to bring at risks families together with the library in the hopes of fostering family interaction, discussion and a love of reading.  Each meeting will begin with a family meal and will then proceed with a group reading of specially chosen children's titles.  After these readings the families involved (guardians and children ages 6 -10) will then discuss the books with the guidance of a education professional.  Children under the age of 6 will take part in a special library reading program outside of the group.  Families for this program will be recommended by local community groups in order to ensure that our target audience is met.
