Borneo king's tomb

In 1958, a Borneo king's tomb was found in WuGui Hill nearby ShiZi Gang, outside Ande Gate.
According to historic records, this tomb's owner was the king Manarejia, who was visited Ming empire in the 6th year of Yongle with a returning fleet of Zheng He, and died in Nanjing on October of this year. As the will of Manarejia, the Ming Emperor Zhu Li burred him in this beautiful hill, titled him as "GongShun King", then stop audiences for 3 days mourning for him.

"Borneo GongShun King epitaph" was written on the stele, that was built in August of 6th year of Yongle.

 

       
Along tomb path, there are pairs of stone horse, stone sheep, stone tiger, civil official and military officer.
After more than 600 years, these sculptures were remained well.
