Sword - Your main weapon. Find it on the beach.
L2 Sword - an upgraded sword that you can have after finding 20 seashells.
Shield - Your main defensive weapon. Marin will give it to you.
L2 Shield - Can block more stuff than the first shield. Find it in Turtle Rock
Sleepy Mushroom - No purpose except to give to the witch. It's in the forest somewhere
Magic Powder - witch will give it to you. Try sprinkling it on stuff
Roc's feather - you can jump with the feather. It is in the Tail Cave(L1)
Power Bracelet - You can now lift rocks and pots. It's in Bottle Grotto
L2 Power Bracelet - Allows you to pick up heavier objects. Located in the face shrine
Shovel - you can dig with it to find stuff. Buy it at the tool shop
Boomerang - After level 5, trade in the shovel to the Goriya on the beach. It's use is obvious
Bombs - Find them by killing enemies or buy them after buying the shovel. Blow stuff up
Bow and arrows - Long range offensive weapon. Buy the bow at the tool shop
Pegasus Boots - Located in Level 3. You can run fast with them
Ocarina - You can play various songs on it. Find it in the Dream Shrine
Hookshot - grapple stuff. You will get this treasure in level 5
Magic rod - Melt ice and light torches. It is in the Eagle's Tower.
Automatic Items
Flippers - You can swim in deep water after recieving these in Level 4
Yoshi Doll, etc. - The trading sequence is automatic. See the collectables section
Magnifying glass - after completing the trading sequence, use this in the library.
Crazy Tracy's Medicine - Refills your hearts after you die
