The Magic Bean Locations
1.  Near the Kokiri Shop in the Kokiri forest
2.  On ledge in Lost Woods looking at the bridge that leads to Hyrule Field
3.  In the lost woods right by a business scrub
4.  In the graveyard, immediately to one's left as one enters it
5.  At the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern.
6.  Near the scientist's lab at Lake Hylia
7.  Right by the person who sells you magic beans.
8.  By the cow on the ledge in the canyon when one enters Gerudo Valley
9.  In front of the entrance to the Desert Colosses
10. Inside Death Mountain Crater near the entrance of the Fire Temple (need the Bolero of Fire)
The Songs
Zelda's Lullaby: Talk to Impa after talking to Zelda
Saria's Song:     Go to the Sacred Forest Meadow and talk to Saria after talking to Zelda
Epona's Song:   Talk to Malon at the Ranch until she asks you to sing with her.  Then pull out the ocarina.
Sun's Song       Play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol in the graveyard and enter the hole.
Song of Storm:  As an adult, talk to the guy in the windmill
Song of Time:   Get the Ocarina of Time out of the moat.
Scarecrow Song: Play a song to the scarecrow who likes only eight notes.  Play it to him again as an adult.
The rest of the songs you learn through Shiek when you near the entrance to the temples.
Great Fairy Locations
On top of Death Mountain (whirling blade technique)
On the path in front of Hyrule Castle (Din's Fire)
Blow up a wall on the far side of Jabu Jabu's pond. (Farore's Wind)
Use the hammer in Death Mountain Crater (Double magic meter)
After entering the Desert Colosses area, immediately on your right. (Naryu's Love)
After recieving the golden gauntlets, by the ruins near Ganon's castle. (enhanced hearts)
Upgrades
Slingshot: In the lost woods, hit the stone hanging from the tree 3 times in the middle with your slingshot.
               Get a perfect score in the archery game
Deku Sticks: Buy an upgrade from a business scrub in the lost woods.
                   Forest stage: Wear a mask
Deku nuts: Forest Stage: Wear a mask
Bomb bag:  Win the Bombchu Bowling game when the bag is the prize
                 Stop the Goron's wild, wild rolling
Arrows:  Get a perfect score in the archery game
              Score at least 1500 in the horseback archery game.

Note: some of the hc peices listed under child can be reached as an adult.  However, only one (DM trail) that is listed in adult can be reached as a child, it's just much easier as an adult.  Many are rewards for mini games, so don't be discouraged.
