Nov.27.2002.. This was my visit to Dr.Flechas. He always sets my appointments to fall when we will be traveling to see my family in S.C. I am presently on an iodine supplement to see how it links up with different problems associated with Fibro/CFIDS. It has helped with restless legs,tremors,breast cyst. I have had an area that was being watched in my right breast since 1999 to make sure it was not getting bigger. It has shown up every year since. This past mth. I had 14 views of the R. breast and they could find nothing. I have been on the iodine for around 2 1/2 years now. I do have to add I was also annointed at Church also. So I give praise to the Lord first. I have pamplets on this if anyone would like a copy or any information on this study. Also I was one of the first to go on DHEA which he prescribed for me in 1989.. This was also one of the big breakthroughs. I know some of the Drs.don't believe in this but that is okay. DHEA is the aging or anti/aging drug as we get older we do not produce as much as we did at a younger age. So of course we start to loose hair,memory etc. all the things that goes with aging. With Fibro/CFIDS we tend to loose or use up this self producing drug. Also I have information on this if needed. This can be bought off the shelf at your favorite stores now. When we were trying it we had to get it from a compound drug store. The Iodine is purchased from a compound drug store. Another drug I have found to be effective is Oxytocin. It helps reproduce energy and as you all know with Fibro/CFIDS what energy we wake up with is all we have for the day so we have to use it wisely. Our bodies do not store it like a regular body would. Even saying all this, doesn't mean I'm cured or well, we all know there is no cure at this time. Sometimes we get in a remission stage but we have to always remember it is there lurking in our bodies. We have to use our time wisely and take life slowly. That is the hard one!
