Who is Michael Crawford? (In short)

To begin with, I think I should have to say that Michael Crawford is, both a singer and an actor with a GREAT talent on both sides. His career started at an early age as an actor in various child movies while, at the same time, dicsovered his vocal talent while participating in a church choir. His great debut onto most audiences was his very acclaimed role in Andrew Lloyd Webber s "The Phantom of the Opera" as the Phantom. This role made him famous world-wide making him able to win many awards, one of which was the Tony. His role also made him decide to make an album and hence, in 1988, "Songs from the Stage and Screen" was released. He left POTO and went on to do more shows and CDs. His entire collection of CDs consists in more than 10 CDs made in the last few 12 years His latest album, "A Christmas Album" got him back on tour and back in business where people once thought he had left for good...
