Welcome to my homepage on the Kennedy Family. I have gathered information on the descedants and ancestors of Joseph Patrick Kennedy and his wife Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald. I have tried to include as many sources as possible. For the ancestry of the Family, my information comes from the book Ancestors of American Presidents, First Authoritive Edition, compiled by Gary Boyd Roberts, published in cooperation with the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston, Mass. by Carl Boyer, Santa Clarita, California, 1995. For the descendants by information comes from an article in the New England Historic Genealogical Register, Vol. 139, Pages 211-224, by Edward L. Galvin, entitled The Irish in New England, The Kennedys of Massachusetts Both of these can be purchased through the online catalog at the New England Historic Geneological Society. Another book with charts of the descendants is The Kennedy Women by Lawrence Leamer, Ivy Books, New York, 1994.
