Global Warming
4) Problems and Solutions
Some of the reasons why there's a climate change are:

- CFC emissions: only produced industrially so they are easier to cut down than gases like carbon dioxide and methane. We can find them in aerosols, refrigearator coolants, air conditioners...

-
Greenhouse gases: This gases include carbon dioxide, methane, water vapour an nitrous oxide. They appear naturally, but are also made through industrial proceses as a part of the Earth's ecosystem.

PROBLEMS
We can divide this section in two parts: natural problems and  animal problems.

Natural problems
Flooding as polar ice caps melt, raising sea levels. Some countries an areas may dissapear such as the Netherlands, South-East of England...
Extreme weather events due to shipfting ocean currents
Deserts to spread across Europe as land dies up
Higher temperatures. Global temperatures have risen 0.6C. October 2001 was the warmest October since records began in 1659 abd dynnser 2003 was Europe's hottest for 500 years.
 Lost of vegetation and animals

Animal problems

-
Deseases because of the high temperatures such us headache, faints, skin cancer...

- Changes in global climate are affectig animal behaviour. For instance, in the UK birds are lying eggs early and inhabiting more northely areas.

SOLUTIONS
What can we do?
- Use more public transport and bycicle
- Use less the air conditioning
- Not to use aerosols and products which contain CFC's gases

What can Governments do?
- Imposing higher fines to the industries which pollute
- Spending more money in environmental issues
- Respecting the
Kyoto Treaty
