Mariachi Javelina
All I know is that the group was started either in the 60s or 70s by Juan Ortiz, the current leader of Mariachi Campanas de America.
It was the first time that Mariachi was ever offered as a course in any college or university in the
United States.
I'll post some more information as soon as I can get a hold of it.
