WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE LACK OF THE YUDINA MATERIALS IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION.
Now I'm currently working at maria Yudina's biography, the first draft of which will be completed by March. I'll highly appreaciate your comments and your opinion on my work. Supposedly it'll become the subject of my doctoral dissertation.

Preface.
By far Yudina's biography can be divided into the following periods:
1. Childhood and Years of Studies. Nevel and Petrograd (1899-1917)

2. Revolution and Civil War. Contacts with Mikhail Bakhtin and his circle. First Romance with Lev Pumpianski. Graduation from the Conservatory and studies at the Petrograd UniversituNevel, Petrograd (1917-1921)

3. Concert and Teaching Activities at the Petrograd-Leningrad Conservatory  before the exile. Propaganda of the western Contemporary Music. Meetings with Hindemith, Berg, Klemperer (1921-1930)

4. The Years of Wondering. Alma-Ata, Tbilisi, Moscow. Concert and teaching activities in Moscow (1930-1938)

5. Romance with Kirill Saltykov (1938-1939), directing Taneyev's Oresteia, resignation (1939-1941)

6. Activities during WWII (1941-1945). Living in besieged Leningrad (1943)

7. Postwar Stalin era (1945-1953). Karsavin, Working on the Russina texts of Schubert. Pasternak, Zabolotsky. develops a close friendship with Boris Pasternak

8. Post-Stalin period  (before she was expelled from the Gnessins Institute)(1954-1960). Teaching and Concert Activities in Moscow in Leningrad (1954-1959). A Window to the West.(Polish tour, 1954; Bernstein and Suvchinsky, 1959). Defense of Pasternak (1958-1960)

9. Revenge  for Pasternak (1960-1966) Yudina as a person non grata in the Communist state

10. The End (1966-1969). Lectures on Romanticism, literary activities.

11. Catastrophy, Illness and Death (1969-1970)

By far the first two and the last chapters are already completed. The work at the other stuff is still in progress.
