Circular letter for the Jack Russell Terrier and Parson Russell Terrier’s
judges and owners.
Dear
Madam , Sir,
As
you know, the “Parson Jack Russell
Terrier” breed is now divided in two
varieties with different heights :
-
the Jack russell Terrier : from 25 to 30
cm.
-
the Parson Russell Terrier : from 31 to 36
cm.
On
a practical point of view :
1)
During the confirmation exam, the judge will
classify dogs in the one or the other variety
after writting on the confirmation form the dog’s height and chest
circumference .
2)
During the dog shows, the judge will write on
the dog’s « old » pedigree,
the chosen variety.
3)
During an unspecified time, the covering and /
or birth declarations must absolutely be completed with the dog’s and
bitch’s heights.
4)
The « old » pedigree can be modified
in order to replace « Terrier du Reverend Jack Russell » by Jack
Russell Terrier or Parson Russell Terrier. You will have to send to the SCC
- french kennel club – the « old&nnbsp;» pedigree on which an expert or
a judge will have written the dog’s height during a dog show or a club
meeting.
Of course, all these measures have been accepted by the SCC.
See you soon.
