What's New Pussycat ...whoooa whooooooa... The happenin' "what's happenin'" page
BOOK AND MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS: It's taking me a long, long time, but I'm plodding my way through THE OUTLANDER SERIES pictured left - a historical romantical 800-page-6-bookical saga series that is mainly 18th century scotsmen fighting and f***ing. Not bad for $3.99, huh, huh?? Esme and I made dueling dream casts - it's true. As far as films go, I have been lacking. I did see MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA finally, and it was quite lovely. Some found the acting wooden, but I thought there were some lovely performances. Visually stunning, of course, and Ken Watanabe is who I fell in love with (because, I tend to come away from every entertainment with a new love of my life). Other than that, I have viewed some classics (HP 4, Batman Begins) and I'm trying not to ring up a bill with our Cox Digital Cable DVR downloadable movies. I should really be reading - because goodness knows, I'm only 145 pages thru book two of Epic Scottish Stories.

The page where you'll get a wee bit of news worth reporting, a wee bit of news worth nothing, some photo fun, my humble opinions, my cocky opinions, to generally clutter the World Wide Web with my presence! UPDATED - June 14th 2006!
I went back to VANCOUVER in April/May to see my beautiful "Mesamies" group of friends. Andrea and Shannon got married, so not only did I get to spend time with some of my favorite faraway friends, I was CULTURED by witnessing my first lesbian wedding ceremony. Not just that - it was a pagan handfasting ceremony. I was doubly cultured. Above photo is ALL of us except for Savannah, at a local playground, a few hours before the wedding! Here are some various other snapshots to tickle you, plus the heartrending tale our journey turned into:
FASHION NEWS: See Jill. See Jill's bangs. See Jill's bangs and imagine them on my head. I have a haircut on the 22nd, and I am thinking sideswept bangs might be just enough to satisfy my "I NEED SOMETHING NEW ON MY HEAD" feeling but not scare my stylist. FOOD NEWS: Audiences ate up "Once Upon a Mattress Jr." - (get it?? food news? ate up?? get it??) but that was in MARCH. MARCH 13TH to be exact, wow, it has been that long. I have vowed never to do another after school program again, but will probably continue with Fantasy Work's summer programs and Theatre School Saturdays. Since, they seem to be the only people employing me at the moment. Photos of Mattress:
RUNAWAY BUNNIES:
Am I a copycat friend if I copycat bangs?
I THINK this is "runway bunny" - either that or some poor kid got kicked out of his 2D bedroom for a photo op.

Since you last visited my page... if you haven't been here since preupdate time, I have been slaving away with the Gamm in their final '05/'06 show, David Hirson's La Bete. The show is the third RI incarnation of it, though first pro group doing it. Tony (to left in pink) was involved all three times. I have been involved two - first time around I was the female lead. This time around, I am washing Tony's pantaloons. Literally, you can see me to the right. But it's an awesome production - the other fellow pictured left is Steve as Prince Conti - it's a friggin hilarious show - it closes Sun June 18th.

HEARTRENDING TALE: On my way out of Vancouver, due to a late night and EARLY rising, I accidently wore Andrea's shoes home. What this became was a heartbreaking tale of kidnap and escape, which has yet to be solved. "Shoe-Shoe" endured several plane rides to an unknown destination, abuse in a cold and stale basement, and finally escape into the great greenery of nature. But their return is unknown... the shoes may have gotten lost over the great plains that is America....
