marble "pictures"

These are adorable and can be made into marbles, pushpins or just used as a desk decoration. I first saw thisproject at not martha . I'll have pictures up to help you out sometime soon.

you'll need
Silicon Gel (you can find this at hardware stores.) Clear Marbles (the kind with one flat side, which can be found in the floral decoration section of craft stores) Magazines, comic books, whatever you want to use as you're image. 3/4 inch magnets (optional)

Step 1 Look through you're magazines or whatever you're using until you find a small picture that would fit inside a marble. Then, grab one of you're marbles and trace the picture. Cut it out.
Step 2 Take your silicon gel and put a tiny dab in the center of your picture. Take the marble and squish it down onto the picture to spread out the glue. Keep pressing until the glue spreads out to the edges of the picture. It should create a cool maganified look. Set it aside to dry.
Step 3 If you want to turn your marble picture into a magnet, simply glue the magnet onto the bottom of the marble.

Voila!
