HOMEMADE EASTER EGGS
MACARONI AND CHEESE
CREAM PUFFS

Mom's Mac & Cheese

Ingredients :
-One Box of elbow Macaroni
-16 oz of sharp cheddar cheese (best if
    you use the kind you have to shred
    yourself)
-1 Stick of Real Butter
-Italian Bread Crumbs
-1/4 Cup of Milk

Directions :

Prepare noodles by box instructions. Shred Cheese. Layer Macaroni and cheese starting with noodles ending with cheese (usually two layers of each) pour milk over the top and use one third of the stick of butter cut into little pieces and stick into noodles. Take remainder of butter and melt in a separate pan add bread crumbs slowly until they start to be dry looking (usually 3/4th of the can of bread crumbs). Take buttered bread crumbs and cover top of Macaroni. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until bread crumbs get real brown. Let finished Mac and Cheese sit for 5 minutes before serving.

         Cream Puffs

Ingredients:

-
1 pack of Stella Dora brand Anginetti                cookies or any round
- 81/4 oz. can crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 3 oz. cream cheese


Directions:


In A Big Bowl Add:

Mix whipped topping and cream cheese for  1 minute at a medium speed.
Add crushed pineapple and blend all 3 ingredients for about 1 minute at a low speed.

Drop filling from tablespoon onto bottom layers of cookies. Replace cookie tops.
Refrigerate until ready ( these are much better the next day)

Mom was an excellent cook and always made sure we had good meals.....I always felt sorry for the kids that had hot dogs for dinner....We always had things like homemade chicken & dumplings, pot roast, pork chops, BBQ chicken, Surprise Meatloaf, etc. (The list goes on and on) I'll never forget the lil things,  whenevr she made hamburgers, mom and I would always eat the raw ground beef and Lisa would just flip out, but it was so good....roll it up in a ball with some salt and pepper.......hmmm just couldn't resist.
CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS
        Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:
4 Chicken breasts
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
4 cans of Water
a chunk a butter
Salt, pepper, and garlic salt

Directions:
Wash chicken and put in a pot with above ingredients. Cook 1.5 -  2 hours. Bring to a boil, cook til the chicken falls off the bone.

Make dumplings (off of the back of the bisquick box) Double the dumplings.
