GOD BLESS THE LITTLE CHILDREN
God bless the little children so tiny and so sweet,
Innocent and tender down to their tiny feet.
They are so joyful cuddly and divine,
I would love nothing more than to make them mine.
Their sweet little faces and big bright eyes,
Give such enjoyment like the clear blue skies.
And giggle when you tickle them and love to play,
It gives me such enjoyment it takes my breath away.
When they start walking and their first tooth appears,
It's so very exciting and so are their tiny ears.
They bring so much joy they are all that I need,
GOD bless those little children they are just my speed.

Cold Winter
I love the cold winter and all that it brings,
Children out skating it makes my heart sing.
Crisp winter mornings cars spinning on snow,
They try to get going they sway to and fro.
Snow falling lightly covering the ground,
Children making snowmen and gathering around.
The houses and treetops are bright with their coat,
Of white fresh fallen snow they sure have a glow.
The roads are slippery some cars will not start,
You need to use caution before you depart.
Watch out for the children who are all over the place,
Their lives are so special they move at a fast pace.

A TRAGEDY UNFOLDS
It started out like any other day on that tuesday morning
September 11 2001 without any warning
Two planes hit the trade towers one hit the pentagon
Before anyone knew it massive lives were gone
Debris falling all around people helping each other
To get to safer ground and comfort one another
Screaming and trying to reach the wounded and the dead
So much smoke falling down upon their heads
The rescue workers doing their best to find the living amongst the mess
Men women children were taken they will never be forsaken
This started a war on the US of A
Which will be won come what may.

A Friend I Met By The Lake
Sitting down by the lake one day
I noticed a lady across the way
She looked over and gave me a smile
I decided to go and talk with her a while
I was writing and so was she
It was peaceful and sunny
Such a beautiful day
To let your mind wander
And take all your cares away
I introduced myself with a smile
I asked if she had been there a while?
She replied"I come here a lot"
Every chance I get"
It's my favourite spot
I like to write when I get the chance
It gives me pleasure and lets me unwind
I said"I am the same way
Let's meet here again sometime if you don't mind
That will be nice we both agreed
And went back to writing once again
On the grassy hillside
Where ducks came occassionally to feed
It was getting late now so we said our goodbyes
And both said "I'll see you soon"
O.K. she said "It was nice meeting you"
I said"And also you too"
Bye for now until wednesday around noon
See you then was her reply
Maybe we can bring a lunch
"Sounds good" I said
"We'll do that" We'll be good friends I had a hunch.

HAPPINESS
My heart is filled with happiness
Just because you are here
To share all the pleasures
That life allows us to share.
Life filled with memories
Now and for days to come
Until the sun shines no more
And when the next days begun.
Things we share together
Will stay inside my heart
And fill me up with unconditional love
Forever never to part.
Thank You very much my darling
For being here with me
So glad you came into my life
You made me as happy as can be
I'll always be true to you dear
Your world is entwined into mine
You made my life so spectacular
My darling, my lover, my divine.

WHISPER
Whisper softly in my ear
Tell me you love me I want to hear
Kiss me gently and hold me close
Enthrall me with passion right down to my toes
Give me your sweet love I'll accept it with care
And embrace it with open arms that's a promise my dear
Never let me go sweetheart stay with me forever more
We'll grow old together that's what true love is for.
Be by my side darling when days begun
And stay until dawn as the sun goes down
Stay with me honey I'll love you with pride
As long as you're with me and here by my side.

OUR LITTLE CHILDREN
You stole away our childrens' lives their future now all gone
They'll never get to experience all they'll never get to come home
Whatever they were going to be we now will never know
All their dreams are shattered because of your cruel blow.
So many have been taken lives lost amongst the ruins
And all thats left is rubble massive debris to move from dunes
The frantic noise and screaming brings shivers up my spine
But amidst my shaken body my GOD is there to shine.
He'll take those little angels and hold them oh so close
To his heart he shall embrace them all in his heavenly post
They'll be so many more stars to shine in the sky at night
And everyone we see will stand out and make the sky a worldwide light
To light up all the goodness and love each one endures
GOD took them in HIS loving arms and HIS angels rose to HIS doors.

ANGELS
There were so many angels taken to heaven that fateful day
The attack on the world trade towers were totally blown away
All races and ages of people some big and some small
Were taken away from all of us with such a herendous fall
People scattered all around some nowhere to be found
Some were saved thank GOD for that the ruins so loud a sound
The little children gone to never see the light of day
They didn't deserve to have this happen
Their little lives taken away
It's so awful words cannot describe the sadness and the pain
The devastation left behind never to be the same
My heart goes out to all of them and the rescuers too
They did such an amazing job for all like you and me
I think about this everday and try to comprehend
And hope some peace will come to pass
A hand we all shall lend
I say farewell my soldiers how brave you were that day
You gave your life and GOD swept down and carried you away
So go with HIM and he will soothe your broken heart tonight
And kiss away your every tear and hold you oh so tight

WHEN TERRY MET HAROLD
Terry my dear friend is someone you'd love to meet
She'll treat you with great respect and knock you off your feet
She didn't have a great life until one special day
Someone came into her life and chased her blues away
Her special man is named Harold her man her love her life
It wasn't very long before he made her his wife
They share everything together and stay by each others side
Enjoying each others company they have nothing to hide
Such a joy to have around they'll build you up when you are down
Together Terry and Harold will live in peace and harmony
If you happen to meet up with them tell them a big Hello from me
They shall share the joy of each other everyday
And greet each waking moment as two in love can be
There's a brighter star shining up in the sky above
With each of their sweet and tender caring and pure sweet love.

VALERIE
Valerie is my grandaughter, so tender and so sweet,
Long flowing hair the color of wheat.
Beautiful blue eyes that will draw you close,
As well her tiny sweet little nose.
She loves to read and swim she does this a lot,
Reads books about kittens and cats big ones small ones it matters not.
She's funny, she's smart, she'll trick you sometimes,
And scare you when you least expect it,
One of her favourite past times.
She's growing up right before my eyes,
Before you know it she'll be a tall size.
And I know she'll grow into a lady of genuine,
Because she is my grandaughter, I'm glad she is mine.

We meet we touch we embrace
You lay a kiss upon my face
You touch my soul with your sweet love
And send it soaring up above

When Margaret Met Josh
Surfing the internet one night someone sent a message to me
His name is Josh such a delight
We started talking every night he's cute as he can be
We like the same interests we share a lot online
We enjoy each others company for me it suits me fine
He is very handsome and younger but that's okay
We just talk and joke around until we connect the next day
He likes to ride his bike and run every night
Me I like to walk a lot until the sun is out of sight
He is a nice man I'm sure you'd agree
I'm glad I met this man named Josh to keep me company
