Watercolor Class Tuesday February 18, 2003.

My husband told me a story about when he was a child a bird was nesting in the mailbox. The mailman pushed the nest away from the opening and continued to deliver mail as usual. My husband loved to pick up the mail and watch the babies grow.

This little story inspired me when I planned for Tuesday's class.

I used masking fluid to preserve the white of the paper for the flowers in the foreground.

A bird and a mailbox.
