Watercolor Painting Class January 21, 2002.

Magnolia tree with flowers and a bird. I was asked by a student if we could paint flowers. Flowers have not been a subject for a long time.

A Magnolia tree has beautiful flowers and it seemed to be suitable subject.

For the background, I used Cerulean Blue. The flowers have permanent rose and cadmium yellow. Alizarin Crimson would also be a good color.
