Watercolor Painting Class Thursday, March 2003.

The students told me they wanted to paint flowers with the wet on wet method.

Please be patient when you wait for the pictures to load.

Since many students print the pictures from my website, the pictures must not be very small.

I wet the paper with clean water. Yellow, blue, green and purple are painted on the paper loosely while the paper is still wet. Then I let it dry.	I reinforced the green and blue for leaves and did negative painting around the flowers.
	To the left, is the finished painting. I used a black thin line to bring out the shape of the flowers where  needed.
