July 12, 2002: Welcome to the web site for Juvenile Justice. Under this heading of announcements you will find important information regarding the classes including homework assignments and next day class activities. Later on in the semester, you will find other headings for exam reviews to access to help you study for tests. Email me at Steve Mardock if you have any questions.

July 19, 2002: We have now completed Chapter 1 and will start Chapter 2 on Monday and finish on Tuesday. The test over Chapter 2 will be on Wednesday. I will have the exam completed and the review posted later this weekend. It will only be 20 questions. Homework 1 is now posted and it is due on Thursday, July 25.

July 20, 2002: The review for Exam 1 is now posted. Remember that we have not covered chapter 2 yet so you will not have the answers to those questions until we do. You will also find some potential paper topics for your research paper. Remember that these are suggestions only and you can talk to me about any other ideas you have. It might help if you go on the internet and look up juvenile justice topics and you probably could get some more ideas.

July 22, 2002: Homework 2 is now posted. It is due on Monday, July 29.

July 26, 2002: Homework 3 is now posted. It is worth 5 points and is due on Tuesday, July 30, 2002.

July 28, 2002: Homework 4 is now posted. It is worth 10 points and is due on Thursday, August 1st.

July 30, 2002: Homework 5 is now posted. It is worth 10 points and is due on Monday, August 5th. Also, since we will be touring the juvenile detention facility on Monday the 5th, the exam has been moved to Wednesday.

August 2, 2002: Exam 2 review is now ready to print. The test will be Wednesday. Don't forget the tour of juvenile detention on MOnday and bring your homework 5 with you. Have a good weekend.

August 6, 2002: The last homework for the semester is now posted. It is worth 10 points and is due on Monday. Don't forget the exam tomorrow and please read Chapter 8 for Wednesday and 9 and 10 for Thursday. Your paper on the court observation is due on Thursday.
