| Westlife member Mark Feehily announced on August 19,2005 in the sun newspaper that he is GAY. He said ,"I want people to know the truth.I am gay and I am proud of who I am.I am not asking for sympathy ,or to be a role model fro someone else .I simply felt it was the right time to tell the truth. Mark,25,is in a relationship with Kevin mcDaid,21,formerly of boyband V.The couple met few monthes ago. |

| Shane's first child was born in Silgo General Hospital at about 8.27 am on Saturday 23rd July.Baby Nicole was 10 days premature . Shane said:"It was the most emotional and amazing experience of my life". |
