Turkey (Sept 10th - Sept 22nd) Continued
So with the west of Turkey complete we headed off East in Search of more ancient relics..
Our last Night in Turkey was a Bush Camp Night, we were high in the Mountains and the camp Fire was a necessity
From here we went onto Nemrut Dagi.. On top of a hill an ancient civilisation build a monument to Nemrut thier King and God. The road up gave us a chance to see the less explored countryside.
Once we reached the summit the amount of the work that was done became evident
The western terrace faces west to give of the best Sunset's so far.
The next day we headed for the Syrian border wondering what we would encounter on the Road to Damascus???
