| Friends by Marcus Riley Friends can be hard to find, Especially when people can be so unkind. A life without friends can be so sad, Especially if times are bad. Sometimes friends can hurt you, And sometimes they don't even mean to. Sometimes friends can be great, And sometimes it seems they hate. Friends can be good to you, If they love you. That love is very rare, And most people just don't care. Sometimes you can be friends, And not seem like friends. Sometimes lonely is the way for me, And sometimes loneliness makes me feel free. Maybe being a loner is better than being in a group, So don't blame me if I want to be alone sometimes. |
