| May 12, 2001- Eric Lee Coker receives posthumous Master's of Science degree in history from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Degree accepted by Lee Roberts. Lee was best friends with Eric. |
| February 23, 2001- The Marcus Riley homepage was started and is continuing to be a work in progress. |
| December 8, 2000- Worst day of my life. Eric Lee Coker commits suicide. |
| December 15, 2000- Eric Coker was laid to rest at Mankin Cemetery in Tool, Texas. |
| December 14, 2000- Funeral for Eric Coker was held. There was lots of crying and a sense of closure began to occur. |
| December 17, 2000- Eric Lee Coker would have turned 29 on this day. The first annual birthday bash to honor Eric was held at my house. |

| March 3rd- Matthew Riley's birthday. |

| July 13, 2001- Plans for summer party made. Party will be August 18th at my house. Plans for second annual Eric Coker birthday bash made. Party will on December 15th at my house. |

| August 17, 2001- Last day of work at the drug store. |
| August 22, 2001- Move back to Commerce, Texas for new semester. Should be in room 1202 and 1204 with my brother. Hopefully it will be 24 hour quiet hours since it is the 12th floor. |
| August 27, 2001- First class for Fall semester. James Taylor concert that I have to miss because of the first day. |

| September 11, 2001- Tragedy strikes the United States in an attack on the East Coast. Could be the beginnings of World War III. |

| October 27, 2001- The Oak Ridge Boys concert in Commerce at the A&M-Commerce Field House (gymnasium). They were awesome. |

| December 8, 2001- One year anniversary of Eric Coker's death. Trip planned to visit Eric's grave. |
| November 26, 2001- Don Huff makes an appearance in Commerce after spending past four months in Wyoming. |

| December 14, 2001- Christmas break starts. |

| May 2002- Almost finished with school, just one semester to go. |
| Summer 2002- Worked at drug store and took one online class through the university so I could do student teaching. |

| September 2002- Went horseback riding with Mary E. Hooper |
| October 30, 2002- Removed from student teaching. Yes, I'm living proof that shit happens. |
| November 1, 2002- Moved back to Red Oak after changing major to non-teaching with my spirit broken and filled with heartache. |
| November 9, 2002- Purchased 2002 Nissan Frontier Pickup from Urban Nissan in Duncanville. Yes, that is in the hood. |
| December 14, 2002- Roseanne graduated college. |
| December 15, 2002- Sue Hooper (Mary's mom) celebrated a birthday. I ain't telling how young she is. |
| December 24, 2002- Christmas Eve. First time to have Christmas Eve off since 1997. |

| January 10, 2003- Mary turns 23. |
| May 9, 2003- Matt graduates college |
| June 10, 2003- Mike graduates police academy |
| June 18, 2003- Mom turns 49. One more year till 50. |
| June 30, 2003- Mom and Dad's 30th Wedding Anniversary. David Hooper has a birthday. |
| August 9, 2003- I finally graduated college with 139 hours. Yes, it is about damned time that I graduate. |
